<But NT in its current state is not the answer and they know it. The whole NT domain business can get out of hand very easily in a large enterprise.>

I think that I shall never see
a thing as lovely as NDS + T3
a few more months and we'll shout with glee
"look, full (mega)WAN/telecom administration ..... on a tree !!"

(This is guaranteed to send the Microsoft lurkers running around like hens in a thunderstorm !)

guys, I'm still here, the 1990 Cos D'Estournel, FILE, and IDTI are kicking in, I'm feeling good !

By the way, why does no one talk about possible telephony applications in the NOVL vs NT SERVER discussion. I'm not a techie, but didn't I read somewhere that we were headed toward a convergence of IT and telecom infrastructure? Very soon, we will not be saying "What is the best server" but, what is the best "communication server", I think.
