stock was down on ciena/att news. att wants to deploy higher channel systems vs. 16 channel cien systems. as a component supplier to ciena, some people reacted to this Dillon Read comment as being negative for unph - which the DRCO analyst stated could be bad for unph in that revenues could be delayed till the higher channel systems were sold. here's the "rent a clue" part - unph makes mo money on the higher channel systems. just goes to show you, if you are patient, golden opportunites are created by people whose influence on stock prices is greater than their intellect or understanding of how businesses work. end of sermon.
