I think Greenspan has already lost credibility, the street just don't know it yet. You can only cry wolf so many times. Adding to Jacob's list is this total over hype of a strong economy, with no consideration that we may be topping. Where is inflation going to come from for him to remotely justify raising rates? Greenspan has allowed all the attention to go his head, grandstanding as if he is the finance guru in front of congress and national TV.

Take a look at the yen as I type, over 143 now. How much more does the yen have to fall before the conversion from yen to US$ turns into a rush on the entire Japanese financial system?

Who is going to step up to the plate this time in support of the yen?
