All,
I may well have come up with the greatest yet reason to buy precious metals.

Elections are just around the corner. Let us say you are rich. In your area there is a promising conservative running for office. The only thing standing between this conservative and office is money. The only thing preventing you from helping him "enough" are those pesky campaign contribution laws.

Or you have a child or loved one down on their luck. The only thing keeping you from helping them "enough" are the tax laws.

The answer to both problems could be the same. How about handing them thousand junk silver dollars. After all, all you have given is $1000. No problem. It is "legal currency".

At least it would not be money from China!
