Actually, the IPO was priced far lower than originally planned due to the falling market for IPOs. Instead of selling 2.5 million shares at 8.50 on June 16, they decided to sell 2 million at 6.5 this week. Mr Carey has retained more controlling interest than originally intended. This family has made boocu bucks in many ventures including selling cattle in both the US and Europe. The name of the parent company escapes me right now, but it is not public anyhow. I know that Mr Carey is not intending on selling the company anytime soon. I also know that he has committed to staying in Poland for at least another 4 years. As for the stock price, I can only assume that this will increase with company revenues.
