Credit card in hand, I tried to purchase Portico from every reseller that GMGCin listed in the Los Angeles area. Here is my account:
MaxAir - Got passed around but the third guy I spoke to seemed to know a little about the service. Didn't know the pricing, didn't have a demo acct yet, said they would send info as soon as they got some from GMGC. Promised to call me as soon as he had a pricelist and the instructions on how to sign me up.

After speaking with these folks, it looks to me like:
1) None have the kits necessary to sign up users.
2) None are terribly well trained.
3) The ones I actually spoke to didn't have demo accounts or know pricing.
I know it's early but I'm smelling a rat here. Where are the top drawer wireless resellers? Where are the name brand retailers? These are not the resellers I was hoping for. |
