Tonyt,
It has been doing that the last two days. I see it as a natural response to a market maker fulfilling a clients high priority request to fulfill a sizeable order that cannot be filled at current ask prices. After fulfilling the order there was lower opening the next AM. I half expected a weaker opening in a continuation of the two day pattern. A similar event happened to me this afternoon. I had a sizeable order in for SRGN I increased the bid by one cent to meet the ask at .46 I got a partial fill and the bid ask jumped by 4 cents. I dropped my bid and the low market maker bid ask returned to the previous level after 15 minutes and I was able to fill my lot at .46. Now I've answered your question non-rhetorically, your turn to answer mine.

J.D.
