I have an excellent recommendation. Alta Natural Herbs & Supplements (AHS:ASE). I bought shares about two weeks ago after looking at their financials and talking to some of their people. They are positioned to benefit from the huge trend toward naturopathic medications and remedies. The Europeans and Asians are already big consumers of these products and we in North America are just turning in that direction.

I also learned that The US Government National Cancer Institute is planning a scientific test of Shark Cartilage as a treatment for cancer. And AHS is one of the worlds largest producers of Shark Cartilage products.

Just days after buying my shares they came out with a press release announcing that they are testing a new product called Hepatico. According to their Investor Relations Department Alta has the exclusive worldwide marketing rights to this herbal product
that has been used in the Russian state of Georgia for 150 years. According to studies done there, it has "cured" people with all forms of Hepatitis (including Hep-C).

I did some research and I was able to verify the existence of these studies, although they are still not translated into English. Anyway, Alta expects to have results from their trials to release by September. Talk about good timing!

I started researching Alta from the back of a herbal product bottle - I use one of their other herbal products. Goes to show that sometimes you have to use common sense and invest in the things you actually use.

If you want to call them, their IR dept. has a toll free # it is 1.800.969.7222 (the Director of Corp. Comm. is Raymond J. Irvine)- decent fellow no BS just facts.
