I just stumbled onto this thread, and am not a post grubber, but I do have one thing to say, and it's about eating worms. I in fact have eaten worms, handfuls of them, specifically deep fat fried mopane worms, caterpillars really, in Africa, to be polite, and on more than one politeness- requiring occasion. If you didn't look too closely at their wee caterpillar bodies, all burnt on the outside and greenish on the inside, but just concentrated on the hot fried greasiness of the little critters, you could think of them as a sort of unusual fast food. Needed a lot of salt. |
