Thread, Today was one bad day for me, not the market mind you, my computer at my store went down, it's not a DELL, too bad. It's almost impossible for me to run my store with out a computer. I had customers all over the place turning in used CDs, mothers with kids, construction workers, guys with green and yellow hair, the normal record store shoppers. <gg> I turn it off since it hung up (rarely does that once twice a year) turn it back on and I lost the port to one of the terminals. After switching cables to the a quad card, the terminal worked find. Then I go to print out something and the printer doesn't work. Called the software vendor (TRAX system sort-a Ok software bad support) vendor no luck. I have burned out part of the mother board, some cheap over seas model. NEVER BUY A COMPUTER UNLESS IT IS A DELL with a INTC motherboard. Called DELL I can get a new computer by the middle of next week, now that is fast. I'll swap out the hard drive plug in cards and presto I'll be up and running. As we were talking the fax came with the quote, they had it on file from two years ago, didn't even tell them to send one. Now that is service.

Greg

p.s. I find it hard to believe that I could burn out a section of the motherboard, the printer and terminal port area. Has anyone else seen this happen??? Please help???
