With over 10,000 stocks in the US equity market to chose from, you'd think traders could find a better way to make money than pretending friendship and comraderie, in YET ANOTHER cheap pump and dump MIRC IRC chatroom operation.
I'm speaking of course of #bastages - The MIRC channel hosted by none other than the same guys I saw do the same thing for LITERALLY YEARS on AOL in the Shark Tanks (chat rooms). Luminaries such as MMASSASIN, SSHGuru, Ggecko0001, Louis Riley, Dr Pedicle, and SUMMIT 2000 (the absolute worst) who used to get newbies into chat rooms, recommend junk stocks to them, (after front-buys, of course), wait for the uninformed to buy (boosting the stock price) then selling the stock all the way back down, thereby handily transferring the bank account of the trusting, into there own wretched grasping claws.
BTW, that quasi (queasy?) familiar name , short seller Louis Riley ?- the guy responsible for the KTEL scam ? He, and these guys are actually members of SI now that AOL authorities have gotten wise to their schemes.
And they are NOT skillful traders. They are simply CON ARTISTS playing the same pathetic scam over and over and over depending on the worldwide reach of the worldwide web to provide fresh meat every day.
Last year when Louis Riley bought 12,000 shares of PLSIA, at the very top of an intraday spike, and more in the aftermarket (!) he was surprised at the (duh) "devastating 85,000 dollar loss" the next morning when the stock opened 6 points lower. When someone on the AOL boards pointed out that PLSIA "didn't make the only dental laser", Louis glibly lamented, "I guess I should have checked."
This is the same guy that calls himself a "principal" of "Riley Capital Research". LOL!!! He DID discover however, that the princely sum of $100 paid to PR Newswire will allow virtually ANYONE to announce an "analyst upgrade" of a stock !
Hence the KTEL disaster for countless unsuspecting investors.
And you should know that MMASSASIN and Summit2000, others have a direct video web cam connection, so if they seem to agree a lot - ahem - It's no conincidence.
The story goes on and on - I won't belabor the point.
#Bastages is the kind of operation that's going ruin online trading rooms for all of us. |
