Me again<g>. I don't mean to be a pest but I've been going over the scan you posted from Andy Gabor and don't understand a couple of things.

Will the line containing "if p <-29 then" ever be true considering the for loop specifies that p ranges from -14 to 0?

Considering the line "if volratio > 1.3 or volratio<.90 then". Is this looking for days where the volume is higher by 30% or off by 10% from the average of the last 34 days? Are we looking for both long and short candidates? I guess I'm confused as to why the lower volume is desirable.

Considering the line "if qrs(p) > 84 or qrs (p) < 40 then". Do you know why qrs(p) < 40 is desirable?

Considering the line "if movavg(p,89,hi)/(.000001+movavg(p,89,lo)) > 1.025 then" and after reading several thousand messages in the TA threads where Andy seems to prefer the 13, 34, 89 MACD should the following line "set macd=13,34,8;" possibly be wrong? ie should it be "set macd=13,34,89;"?

If I'm all wet on these then PLEASE straighten me out! I've looked at some of the charts on the output I ran this evening and just don't have a clue as to what I'm being told for hits such as:

ACAT
ADTN
AFN
ALT
APAC
APGR

I do see a "good" pattern for ASTE.. I think..

To get these I ran it the scan with avgvol > 30000.
