Oh, the RV definitely is fun. Tonight I visit relatives in
Alabama, and tomorrow I head to the family reunion. Then on to Texas, undoubtedly with another stop or two by another gambling hole or two. By the way, on the way out we made our first visit to an area South of Memphis called Tunica, MS. The wife and I were enlivening the $3.00 Blackjack table at one of the casinos - there are a bunch of Casinos there - when John Grisham stopped by our table for a couple of hands. Had two containers filled with $500 chips that must have totaled 100K. Dropped three of his chips at our table and probably decided he had enjoyed enough success for one night. Ah, me...Lifestyles of the rich, the famous, and the holders of IGEN!!
Now, the IGEN news has recently been good, solid, and abundant!! Just no two ways about it, I figure the stock will take off with any small nudge. The Injunction is a major stroke, as are the tests that were recently gained. E-coli is a medical bomb. It has to mean money. I liked the tone of the conference you reported, John. Thank you. All of this puts Roche under tremendous pressure. Long ago, I said it had been a long time since I reviewed the Maryland laws concerning punitive damages. I am certain they have become more enlightened since I last looked, but I can't say to what extent. I suspect that Roche is coming in danger from that cause, too. I think we can expect that she will move before too long. |
