I'm not going to go into minute details re: pros/cons of a NASDAQ listing. I referred to the NASD requirements Web Pages, which one should read and understand before they say they want to have DCTC listed. Once you read and understand all the NASDAQ rules, I think that they will speak for themselves!
.
The AMEX listing is different. I also re-posted a corrected Web Page URL for THOSE listing requirements, and as you'll see they are different, perhaps even "easier" to comply with.
.
IMO, I do not like the AMEX, and I (and I am sure 100s of thousands of other investors) can't be bothered even looking at them and the stocks listed there. If you think NASDAQ MMs and OTC-BB MMs are rough, just try dealing with the goniffs on the AMEX specialist system. They do not even have to show their hand, like the MMs under NASD must do.
.
I seldom/never trade with the crooks on the Boston or the AMEX.
I would recommend against an AMEX listing at this time. I'd suggest to WAIT until the time is right for a NASDAQ National MS listing. Until then the OTC-BB serves the stock well.
