Jim: take a look at WMAR and RWT- pretty typical- they're pushed down to/through book value then somebody waiting at the bottom buys a boatload. Looks like somebody bought RWT today. WMAR is a nice company, its employees don't deserve that. It must be really hard for little companies to retain employees when their stock is doing so badly. It occurs to me often that the big guys can crush their smaller competition by shorting their stock into oblivion in a market like this.
