still learning, here's a good historical currency rate site... oanda.com scroll down and click "graph absolute values" A Java 5-day graph appears. Change the time period to 10 years and get the graph of yen/$ since 1990. That's as far back as it goes. The graph you get should look like this geocities.com Gottfried
