The premise was there are no other vendors -- it's a monopoly. At least there are no other vendors whose cars work on the roads where you want to drive. There's a difference between an engine, which truly is "integrated" with the rest of the car, and a travel trailer, which can be artificially "integrated" as in my example but which can just as easily be sold separately, and has been for years. JMHO.
