Pete,
I have long had an eye on Sime Darby and have wondered when we would see the low. I also will take a closer look at Singapore Technologies. Both companies have shed weight during the last year and I will be interested in their cash position as well as export nubers if I can find anything half way current. I will also research extractive related companies as Asia will certainly lean on those for much needed cash. But some of these will still have trouble as markets are not as good as they once were. Petroleum issues may be a nice long term play now but not Petronas who is expected to be the sole source of bail-out money in Malaysia now that the world's bankers and investors have rejected the continued state of denial Mahatir promulgates here. (Thus making some issues cheap still). There are others but am pressed for time and will re-initiate a watch list and post it here.

Best,
Stitch
