Tangent Imaging Systems(TM), a division of Scangraphics(R), Inc., (NASDAQ:SCNG), a pioneer and leader in large format scanning and imaging software, announced a formal partnership with The ARC Companies, a $160 million per year reprographics organization. The ARC Companies are recognized as one of the premier reprographics organizations with an outstanding reputation for quality and service. The partnership agreement calls for Tangent Imaging Systems to provide technology, training and sales support to The ARC Companies, as well as to support their facility management contract sales. Tangent expects that the partnership will result in over $2 million in scanner and service sales over the next three years.

This process allows the user to calibrate the scanner/plotter system for specific ink and paper choices and facilitates Tangent's outstanding color capture quality. Equally as important is the ability to scan drawings up to 44" wide and to be able to scan documents up to 1/4" thick.
