Kathleen, it's amazing. Did Bedard just dust off the slides from last year's Robbie Stephens Conference?

And another great moment in half-ass financial journalism:

cbs.marketwatch.com

Intel Corp. (INTC) shares closed up 3.5 percent on news that Daniel Niles, a senior chip analyst for BancAmerica Robertson Stephens, is bullish on Intel and "strongly" recommends the stock. "I cover more than 20 companies in the semiconductor industry, and Intel is the only 'strong buy' in the group," Niles said at a chip conference in San Francisco hosted by BancAmerica Robertson Stephens. Niles downgraded the entire group several months ago because of oversupplies. Niles told CBS MarketWatch that his $100 price target has begun to look conservative. The stock rose 3 to 87 5/8.

Hello!

Niles downgraded the group months ago?

Gee whiz, for a guy who "downgraded the group months ago" he sure seems to be giving the thumbs up to some of the larger issues.

Niles-speak at its finest <g>

Good trading,

Tom
