a winks as good as a nod to a blind sow.the nfld govt was not to blame for the churchill falls deal--it was nrgota=iated by brinco, a private corporation.Tobin is merely using the collective ownership prerogative as a hammer over the head of inco because he was elected by the people largely on this platform and the nfld people are solidly behind him.Hand must be pretty stupid if he thinks that the current nickel price should be the basis for a long term development deal for voiseys bay, afterall we have seen this ploy used in 1966 by hydroquebec.Inco apparently has the same racist views of newfoundlanders as you do and will find to their dismay that we have survived on this rock for 500 hundred years not because of stupidity but by sheer cohesive perserverance. the same racist attitude is evident in the current overbearing, culturally blind approach by the americans as they try to mould japanese economics into the american style.as for WINER,his train of insipid comments has no passengers;he is merely an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing.
