ú ADDITIONAL SAMPLING CONTINUES TO PROVE UP HIGH GRADE NATURE OF AMAZON PROJECT

South Duval Gold is pleased to announce that they have received further assays from their Madalena project located in the Para state of Brasil. Assays received to date have primarily been from the Area de Minas which continues to prove up encouraging results. The area is characterized by a large altered granite stock which has intense stockwork veining throughout. All samples were taken across the intrusive along grid co-ordinates. Of particular interest to the company is that the host granite and the weathered granite, in areas of little or no stockwork mineralization, are also returning appreciable gold values. This significantly enhances the overall bulk tonnage potential. Results obtained from this area are as follows:

Sample Number Type Width Assay (Au g/t)

3067 weathered granite 3m chip 4.63g/t
3069 stockwork veining 2m chip 49.19g/t
3070 stockwork veining 2m chip 38.88g/t
3071 stockwork veining 1m chip 2.84g/t
3072 stockwork veining 1m chip 49.02g/t
3073 stockwork veining 1m chip 46.63g/t
3074 stockwork veining 1m chip 40.24g/t
3075 stockwork veining 1m chip 45.88g/t
3076 stockwork veining 1m chip 18.01g/t
3077 stockwork veining 1m chip 31.99g/t
3080 stockwork veining 1m chip 40.83g/t
3081 stockwork veining 1m chip 40.12g/t
3082 stockwork veining 1m chip 35.53g/t
3083 granite 2m panel 0.62g/t
3084 granite 2m panel 0.15g/t
3085 Silicified granite 1m chip 44.86g/t
3086 weathered granite 1m chip 0.54g/t
3087 stockwork veining 2m chip 15.68g/t
3088 stockwork veining 1m chip 16.22g/t
3089 stockwork veining 1m chip 3.64g/t
3090 stockwork veining 1m chip 9.16g/t
3091 stockwork veining 1m chip 0.87g/t
3093 weathered granite 1m chip 0.55g/t
3095 stockwork veining 1m chip 18.16g/t
3096 granite 1m chip 0.43g/t
3097 stockwork veining 2m chip 45.63g/t
3104 weathered granite 1m chip 0.69g/t
3105 stockwork veining 1m chip 37.73g/t
3106 stockwork veining 1m chip 1.82g/t

In the recently discovered Road Zone, located approximately 400 metres to the southeast of the Area de Minas, a series of 1 metre chip samples taken across an exposed stockwork vein system over a distance of 200 metres, returned the following values:

Sample Number Co-ordinates Type Assay (Au g/t)

3113 570N - 230E 1m chip 48.22g/t
3114 580N - 240E 1m chip 8.47g/t
3115 420N - 270E 1m chip 3.97g/t
3116 430N - 220E 1m chip 41.57g/t
3117 425N - 210E 1m chip 14.02g/t
3118 390N - 180E 1m chip 33.69g/t
3119 390N - 180E 1m panel 51.27g/t
3120 370N - 130E 1m chip 35.64g/t

The outcrop prevalent here is also an intensely silicified, sheared stockwork vein system hosted in granites similar to the Area de Minas with a slightly different mineral assemblage. A series of cross trenches across this newly discovered stockwork system have been put in place to test the width potential and also to further outline the strike potential.

At the Area de Minas the old underground workings have been successfully scaled and dewatered. Sampling and mapping of the old underground workings is proceeding as scheduled and assays from these workings will be forthcoming.

Approximately 1800 metres to the west of the Area de Minas a new zone of mineralization has been discovered. The new zone known as Gold Zone 1, has the same characteristics as the Area de Minas and every indication from panning of creeks in the immediate area and the discovery of old hand trenches and underground workings corroborates this.

Presently Geoterrex continues to fly Airbourne Magnetics and Radiometrics over South Duval's vast land holdings in the Amazon and preliminary maps are expected shortly.

The company anticipates further results and updates from the project shortly and will provide this information as available.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD
