No correction from me. I happen to agree with you except to add the note that a company must stay ahead on the density curve (which is really no more then the "value" curve). And , in my opinion, that lies in the the heads and media (with a slight nod to channel ICs). It would be a big mistake to trivialize that engineering task...but I do not think that is what you imply.
