Taby,

AMAT has a "nasty" habit of sneaking its way Up while nobody is looking:---

You said in a previous Post:--- "Last time, when AMAT moved up from mid 20's to 39, I waited for the pullback and I was left behind; I am not going to let it happen again."

In 1995 and 1996 I bought the stock at 48, sold at 51, saw the stock bottom at 37, went past me to 63 and from then on I agonizingly watched the stock reach 119 3/4 then split 2 for 1... I finally bought back the stock at an average cost of 48, then saw my investment declined 77% (with all my mis-adventures in trading it frequently)... Luckily for me, my "Leaping out of the Alamo LEAPS" bailed me out of my misery in 1997...

AMAT's price gyrations, some may say, defies Logic... One thing I learned is it pays handsomely to buy AMAT when the decline from its All-Time-high is 50% or more... In this case 27 is Perfect!... (although if I have the money I'd still add to what I bought today at 34)...
