Unlike Pat Robertson, I've worked on many types of embedded systems (or firmware, as we SWeng types call it).

The embedded problem - IMO - is vastly overstated. I would be shocked if 1% of 1% (0.01%) had a true Y2K problem on 1/1/2000. Of the tiny fraction of embedded devices that even allow a date to be set - they can easily be "reset" to a prior date if a malfunction occurs.

Also, any embedded system designed by a pro has manual safety and hardware overrides.

Embedded systems are the least of our problem.

Let's talk about the IRS.
