HI Artoo. What does copper prices have to do with this stock? From the price decline it seems to me that the Chile property was a dud. Since the company has no copper how would the price of the metal relate to the price of this stock?
The property contains a copper/gold porphry system! Price decline is due to commodity prices and a lack of interest in metals in general. Drilling has just begun, the project is in its infancy, too early to declare the property good, bad, or indifferent!
The property is perceived as a copper/gold project so the perception although disjointed is if copper prices fall so should copper properties! Its like Inco who is controlling the Voisey Bay find trying to strike a deal based on $2.11 nickel!! The project is going to last 35 years, what does $2.11 nickel have to do with it??
Rocks property will be drilled over the next 2 years, hopefully showing "billions of pounds" of copper with "significant" gold to "buy down the copper per pound", or, "significant gold, with significant copper credits to buy down the price of the gold"!!
It seems like the only hope for this stock will be the BC gov. payoff.
Actually one compliments the other!! If we receive $15,000,000 from the BC Gov, then it will fully fund the Coiron project until completion! Sort of a win/win in my impression. I am patient!!
