Intel takeover by Dell-Gateway merger!!!!
I am an insider for Intel and recently put in a 10000 share buy order.
Andy is my best friend and he also works at Intel. He told me they had a great offer for $200 per share paid with a share trade.

The idea that you could get in trouble by posting false messages like the one above or even much less obvious messages on Silicon Investor is totally ridiculous. First of all you need no identification to join SI, so even if you do give your real name which you have no obligation to do you still could just say it wasn't you who posted the message, but someone who joined in your name. The SEC would be annoyed by petty arguments like that and probably fine you for bringing an issue like that to them. Also, the poster could really believe the message is true. Should they be fined for writing something down that they heard from their broker? If SI postings do manipulate a stock it is only by a few cents, except for very low float stocks.
