Yield Problem & Time Frame

Not sure where we are going with this Jim, but I took a look back to check out my memory. Take a look at an AMD chart and when the convertible issue took place. The debt was issued on May 8th at a time when the share price was much higher than what it had been. This enabled AMD to obtain a higher strike price on the convertible issue. As an AMD shareholder, I'm in favor of as high a strike price as possible.

The press release issued April 14th was the earliest official release that I saw saying that the yield problem on .35 micron was solved. This led to an increase in the stock price, in my opinion.

I did see an earlier run up in the stock price which I do not remember why it occurred and I have not yet taken a look at. Maybe there was an earlier announcement of the yield problem being solved and I just didn't see it in my "quick" search.

I have not read all the posts on this issue so I hope I am addressing your question. Let me know.
