OT

Home for lunch and in the middle of a very busy week with three of four more days to go to get back to normal.

I've moved my trading office to the estate ( as in legal, not physical dimensions ) house .....
will be there for the next few months.

so right now I'm posting on a Dell laptop
and it is SLOW
and a little bitty screen
and only one of them
and no access to my mainframe.......
------- VBZG

I've assessed the recent posts to me here on the Z -----

and have had some random thoughts concerning them .....

I'd a lot rather have a pretty Aggie and a pretty Detroiter winking at me than an oil patch bum and a smelly fisherman .........

but there is one derelict who posted
( I checked his profile and he's been a market maven and guru since 1996 ----- goodness, my 13 yr old grandson has been trading that long)
who I'd as soon not ever hear from again -----

as a matter of fact, the post to which I refer
(and it will be hopefully the last one I ever read from him)
was probably one of the weakest and most pitiful responses to a
(adimittingly, a lesser quality one of my bashings)
castigation which was well deserved, that I've read.

It put me in a mind of third or fourth grade little snot nosed kid, stamping his foot, with tears in his eyes, and responding to something he didn't fully comprehend, but instinctively knew it wasn't complimentary ...... and saying
"In yo face, you sorry motha you"
-------- or from way back in time ------
"Your mama wears combat boots" ......

His research on this area of Texas, about which he was so disparaging, was exceptionally poorly done and most likely reflect his modus operandi as relates to the market, too ......

Paris, Tx just made the list ( #1) as the most livable small town in Texas
is on the list from earlier this year as 3rd or perhaps it was 4th most economical town in which to reside Tx under 50k population
has had Campbell Soup spend over 3 mil expansion money in the past few years
has had Kimberly Clark spend over 5 mil expansion money in the past few years
has had Anheuser Busch spend over 2 mil expansion money in the past few years

has 2 high school campuses less than 4 years old
had, last month, one high school team win the Ford national contest for auto diagnosis and repair
had, in the last 3 months , had two high school teams obtain gold and bronze in the national debating conference in Washington, DC.
and a gold in national problem solving contest , also.
New Years Day sent one high school band to the Rose Parade
has a performing arts which offers 6 or 7 plays per year, and owns the building where it operates
has a municipal band, one of the few in the nation remaining, which presents Friday night free concerts during the summer in one of the many parks in the town --- ( I played it for a bunch of years)
built a new civic center year before last

and that is all off the top of my memory ..... there is more ....

wonder what it's like where he lives that it's so superior to my place ..... VBZG

and on top of that, even tho I tolerate the heat better than most, I've been sleeping with the windows open and I can hear the crickets and tree frogs and the family of owls who reside in a 100 year old, 100 ft tall oak tree outside .......

as I said, his knowledge of this horrible place to which he has so graciously banished me is about the same as his knowledge of the market ......

and on top of all that, my doctor lives next door, and my broker lives 4 doors away , and my banker lives 3 doors away, my dentist within 2 blocks, my attorney, 5 houses away, made a house call yesterday on his way to work to pick up some paper work, my accountant lives 3 blocks away ..... etc......

Heck yes, I'm proud of my home town and I know most folks are, too...
and I'm proud to be able to have cyberfriends like you fine folks on the Z ..........

Off the soapbox .....
back to checking out which dish system I'm going to install at the estate house with my office ...... we are on cable here, but I've decided to explore an alternative -----

and just to show the nice people who live around my folks house ....
the guy who lives next door ( bless his heart, he's just a poor destitute ready for welfare type ------ he just got through baling a tad bit under 300,000 small bales of hay off his farm) has offered to let me use his pickup to move anything I need and another neighbor, across the street, has said she'll park her car in the drive and open and close the garage door to make it seem that the house is occupied, and another one has offered to make sure the grass and shrubs get watered .....
dang, that's a nice feeling ------

Sorry to have bent your ear , but I did enjoy the post from you and Sweet Sue, too ------
even Paul and Ron ........ VBZGGGGGGG

Regards ------ HellHoleLivingNemer
