Hi William: Well! Most of the rumors were refuted. Goldman denied that Aby Cohn has turned bearish and is not also reallocating equity ratios. Merrill has termed "nonsense" about the rumor about IBM lower profit announcement. Well even Gateway is recovering from yesterdays fall. So today was again "much ado about nothing". But the markets are nervous, as palpably evident of "false" rumors surfacing and its consequent impact.
