1..who are the replacement for the people that left
If your ref is to the sales force...they work for AZA and Vivus has a contract with them thru 12/31/98 to sell Muse. AZA also have the rent a reps till the end of the 3rd qtr.
When they announce a USA partner we we all hear at the same time.

2..Why are they building a new plant in Ireland when they are only selling 4,000 scripts a week
There selling a hell of a lot more than 4000 a week ...the IMS is only reporting 4000 a week in the USA (and that incomplete for the USA)...there is no reporting for overseas sales. But there are sales overseas.
The reason they are building a new factory in Ireland is that they will need the capacity in late 1999. The new factory in NJ and the old Paco plant can ONLY produce (once they ramp up to 8 lines) about enough to supply 100,000 scripts a week.
The current USA is more like 6,000 a week then add the other countries that are expected to be approved....you can get to 100,000 scripts in 1999 even with Viagra. So an additional plant with capacity for an additional 100,000 scripts a week needs to start now. It takes 18 months or so to build it and certify the plant.
Also by that time ALIBRA should be approved ...and sales should increase.
3.. The now AZA employees may not be used just to sell Muse between now and the 12/31/98 date...AZA also has products for these sales reps and training on these new products as well.

That's a valid point....

More the reason to sign on a US partner in the 3rd qtr.
