From a long time poster.

I've been here for a while. I've played this stock short and long. I'm also the owner of a company, and have been responsible for making payrolls (not collecting paychecks) since 1986. I've never missed a payroll, even if it came out of my own pocket.

To those who chastise VVUS management, please point out what they did wrong...... Be specific and use figures.

Most small cap companies are not able to always "spin" things well, and if they do it too well, they will be covered up by class action suits for "overpromoting their stock". You may look at my post from December 11, 1997 and you will find I predicted the current class-action suits.

So those of you who have never managed even a 1 million dollar company, please feel free to continue to spout off about poor management. I'm sure you would have done better up against the greatest drug rollout that man has ever seen, as sure as you are.

I had a patient come in today for Viagra. I was ready to write the script (plus Actis, a VVUS product) after the usual warnings about nitrates, etc. He looked me in the eye and asked, "I'm worried about the safety from what I hear." "What would you use if you were me?"

He left with the videotape, a script for Actis and MUSE 500ug, and he felt better knowing that the product was safe. I was not "pushing" MUSE, this was a "patient driven" encounter. I told him it may cause some burning, he discounted that compared to possible severe systemic reactions.

That is why I have a large amount of this stock long at this time.

It's the product, stupid.
