Len has suggested this earlier. Maybe he can expound:
Can you have different resolutions on each monitor? Does
it remember what things you had running on each monitor
each time you turn on the computer? Software configuration
issues? Less tweeking involved than the Millenium II multimonitor
solution? (Using the Millenium and Win NT - how many monitors will work - just two?)

SW...Sorry I missed this post... here's the details...

No, resolutions must be the same with the Vipers.

Yes, remembers where a main window last was at shutdown. Of course, if you open a browser and multiple windows of it, you will still need to position each of them the first time you open them, since only the first browser window is remembered, just like in a single monitor situation.

No software configuration issues that I have come across.

Don't know the tweaking involved with the Matrox cards, but here's some good news. Matrox has developed NT drivers that allow multiple monitors using any combination of the Matrox Millenium I and II, and the Mystique. Matrox allows up to four monitors , as does the Viper, in NT. And as you know, Viper requires you to use only Viper PCI cards in a MM setup in NT.

By the way, Diamond is releasing an 8MB version of the Viper soon, but as I mentioned to you prior, IMHO I don't think an 8MB card is necessary in a general or trading system. Unless you are an avid gamer, or do CAD or Design work, I think 4MB is plenty.

Hope this helps you in your quest.
