According to reliable sources, Joe Gort was investor relations prior to Dror's acquisition of EDII. His contract terminated and, by company request, he tendered his resignation approximately 4 months ago. Gort's name appearing at the end of EDII's latest public announcement was a clerical error. Guttman's contract terminated recently. EDII has decided to handle its own investor relations since then. I spoke with EDII management. They emphatically stated that all of EDII's public announcements were issued by EDII and NOT by the investor relations people. A company must stand behind its announcements and cannot blame anyone else other than the CEO for any misleading info to its shareholders. None of the people involved with the MTEI are officers or directors of EDII. When I asked Dror, he said he's never heard of any of the MTEI owners and couldn't recognize them if they walked into his office. From my conversations with EDII managers, EDII issued the public announcements and the company will stand by them. When an opportunity presents itself and a publicly traded company becomes available, some DEBRIS may come with it. A good manager cleans it up and the shareholders get rewarded. We all are looking for opportunities -- it's the "American Way".
