LOL. Scalable UNIX servers can be delivered by Stratus, Tandem, etc.
Its really not unique to Sun.

The client rules because it controls where you are going and what code
you can run. You get the the most sophisticated games, productivity
apps, and internet browser on the Microsoft Windows INtel platform.
Can anybody else offer this? No!

Is anybody browsing the web with Hotjava? Are your kids demanding the
latest Java games? Does a workforce trained in Office want to retrain
on dumbed down crude productivity apps like eSuite?

Now MSFT will start its MSN portal in October. The only thing people
care about is a richer internet experience. Stuff like Chrome will
keep MSFT way ahead and in control. The only thing content developers
care about is a consistent browser client which creates a mass market.
People don't care whats on the backend. They see whats in front of
them. They see MSFT.

START.COM for the internet.

The really funny thing is how Sun is deluding themselves thinking this
MSFT bashing campaign is working. Sun is doing well because of weak
UNIX competition (HWP and SGI)

The only thing the bash campaign does is drag down the stock. How do
you explain the terrible performance of SUNW stock when the internet
is booming?

Jini might be something YEARS from now but today MSFT rules!

Where do want to go today?
