YES BUT...
The Carson picture then being painted (in garish red letters) certainly
kept the rapt believers glued to their seats. The Avalon picture at the time was extremely rosy, if not crimson red. Dissenting opinions
were immediately met with, uh, extreme prejudice on the thread. The fact that mgmt
exercised options and quickly sold off was explained away, or dismissed as signifying nothing.
It's easy now to glibly say "they can blame no one but themselves"
for not selling out along with Big MO, but lets not forget the context, eh?
