PK, I like Fleck very much and usually agree with him, except for a stock or two now and then. I dont' read Crudele regularly, and I don't really think impeachment is likely unless they can prove that he told Monica to lie. IMHO, Slick Willie is too slick to have left a smoking pistol on that one. But, then, I thought Tricky Dick was too diabolically clever to ever leave tapes sitting around that recorded his criminal activity. You don't get impeached for adultery.
However, I do agree that anything that weakens the Presidency is bad for the stock market. Markets simply do not do well when Congress is in its ascendancy. And if they can prove the sex, then Clinton flat out lied to the cameras. If that is proven, his effectiveness has to be hurt. Also, if it leads to even more loose cannon Republicans getting elected this Fall, his programs will be gonzo.
