I agree with Jeff's theory that in raw numbers, there are more people who post on SI who think they can manipulate a stock's price movement (up or down) than there are shady insiders who attempt to do the same. It is my belief that the vast majority of company insiders are basically honest people. The same is true with SI posters. However there are a few in both groups who think that they can twist or bend things in their financial favor. I just think that in terms of raw numbers, there are more attempted manipulators posting on SI than working for the companies. But I could be wrong.
