Could be another opportunity for Proteon.

The company has shown its willingness to license its'
routing source code with deals with DEC and IBM a few
years ago. There are only 3 other companies with the
level of routing software that Proteon has... Cisco, Bay,
3Com. None of them license source code. And, Proteon
was the first router company to port routing code to the
PC-platform.

Let's just hope management has the sense/skill to
negotiate a better financial deal with MS or Novell than
they did with DEC and IBM.
