Short interest currently stands at about 684,000 shares which is a short interest ratio of 5.9. That figure is as of July 15th, which as far as I know, is the only day of the month that NADAQ releases the figures. June 15th was about 646,000 so its a fairly modest increase.

One of the big worries I have about the quarter out next week is that many will sell on the release regardless of whether the numbers are good or not. Hope I'm wrong, but my suspicion is that even if Crystal beats estimates by a few cents the stock still sells off.

At this point its like being the second to last guy in the poker game. You're pretty sure you hold the loosing hand but you pony up that last raise because you just gotta see what the other guy had.
