"They finally got the pricing right!!!"

Really?

I would use CATV rates as a bar to measure them buy when looking at rates. I don't know what region of the country you are in, but that is definitely higher than comprarable services that I can receive from my local CATV system (suburb between DC and Baltimore). In our area we have the @Home service available for about $40 per month, unlimited hours, for residential high speed data. Basic CATV, w/out premium channels, is about $25/month (including a new increase on Aug.1). The local system recently upgraded their plant to fiber.

Do you have any idea of what the CATV rates are in the areas The Beam serves? If not in-line w/ CATV, or a little lower, why would someone convert over?
