Good morning Robert.
Allow me to answer briefly this AM. In post #19811 you said; <<I want this resolved before we move on. >> I agree completely, and I thank you for your patience.
<<Passover now is through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, while our circumcision is of our hearts by the Spirit of God. >>
Either way these beautiful gifts of God are forever and will last forever. Both are still practiced today in the spiritual way you mention as well as physically.
Abraham received all of the promises of God through his descendants. Are you suggesting God lied? Your arguments are unconvincing. Please illuminate if possible.
Amos was written before Christ but the prophetic implications will be fulfilled in the future. Isa 60:21 Thy people also [shall be] all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. Forever in the Bible means forever. The Hebrew word owlam is used here which means 1) long duration, antiquity, futurity, for ever, ever, everlasting, evermore, perpetual, old, ancient, world 1a) ancient time, long time (of past)1b) (of future) 1b1) for ever, always 1b2) continuous existence, perpetual 1b3) everlasting, indefinite or unending future, eternity.
When was this verse fulfilled?
In Yeshua's name I pray for our understanding. 2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. - DLL |
