Zorro, welcome to SI.
You brought up some very valid points regarding the hype, clowns and vulgarity on this thread.
Most of us came to this thread, months ago, as potential investors. It was after doing a bit of DD, that it became apparent that it would be a risk to invest in this stock at the time.
To compare AENG to Ballard at this time is foolish at best.
Ballard is financed and joint ventured with some of the largest car manufacturers in the world, AENG on the other hand does not want to show(according to Greg) the engine to the big 3.
At this point in time all we know from AENG, is that Carrol Shelby is excited about the engine and that he is testing it.
There have been unfounded rumours here by the "hypsters"
that have been retracted and too many "birds" telling them of upcoming events.
This is the type of posts that bring out the "clowns" as you call them.
In the mean time, the price of the stock has fallen from a high of over 28 to the present 10+ dollars with volume lower than the average.

You posted:
"This is the way it works in the
real world , patents , hype , rumors etc. mean nothing."

I would have to disagree with you on this point. Patents mean everything. Without an ironclad patent to protect this engine design, they have nothing. Anyone could reproduce it, and market it with no legal ramifications.

As you have been watching Ballard, you will agree that it has been a long slow process that has taken several years to date, and they still don't have a product to market.
AENG will have the same long process to go through with their new engine. If in a few years it appears that the OX2 can replace the existing engines of today then there is still plenty of time to get the stock cheap.
