from zevco.co.uk Chris Fay the chief executive of Shell Oil UK is making a statement at ZEVCO's Taxi launch that Shell Oil is entering the Hydrogen supply and distribution business for transport application. This signals the emergence of hydrogen from the status of industrial gas to transport fuel and will effectively launch large scale production with its attendant reduced costs. The EC has commissioned a consortium including ZEVCO to build a light tram to be operated in Bristol. ZEVCO is also now part of an Icelandic consortium set up to build a working fishing boat pwered by fuel cells. Further information coming soon
