Jeff, I haven't been able to post much lately so I sure don't want to waste a lot of time arguing politics, but here's my final two cents...
Reagan wasn't a puppet, he was a master motivator and delegator who was the best president ever in my opinion. He was surrounded by great people also, while Clinton's cabinet and advisors resemble that bar scene in Star Wars <g>. He turned the economy around from the days of 25% interest rates left behind by Carter and his Democrat Congress. We are still seeing the benefits of the economic groundwork he laid, and Bush and yes, Clinton, have helped to build and maintain. As everyone knows, he didn't suffer from any disease until long after he left the White House. As for Iran Contra, Bush's associates' business dealings, Panama, and the Kurds --- that's digging very deep and coming up with, well, nothing. Clinton racked up more that that a year. But don't get me wrong, I don't want him impeached, and I agree that too many resources have been wasted pursuing the Lewinsky thing. I think that things work best when neither party controls both the Congress and the White House. Won't argue this any more, I think we all agree that ours is the greatest country on earth.
