Actually, yours was a very good request that should be given consideration.

If there is a valid reason to list posts in a certain sequence, there must be a logical reason to read them in the same order. In your case, once you click on the link to the latest posts from a member, a link might be added that is called something like View Next Post from this Author And if it was available, I would certainly use it often.

The argument that is only one preferred sequence of reading posts seems to miss the intention of using hypertext in its entirety, ie: it is the reader who should be in charge of what context he views an item and not the author.
