"Belgium's Finance Minister, Phillipe Maystadt, was quoted earlier this month as saying that his nation was considering the sale of more of its Gold reserves. He was shocked to find his name being used to push Gold lower. He called a special news conference, and said that he actually told reporters that Belgium had completed its Gold reserve sales--and had no plans to sell any more..the price of the metal had been pushed lower by close to $10 an ounce, due to those FALSE NEWS STORIES. Unfortunately, the financial media decided to ignore retractions..."
