Exactly what are the current day rates for the shallow drillers in the Gulf? I was told by Cliffs 2 weeks ago that the day rates were in the upper 20's and at last years peak were at the mid to upper 30's. I was also told that the larger deeper drilling rigs were getting something in the neighborhood of the higher 30's when at peak they were getting something in the 60's.

As I am a novice in this sector, please inform me better on the current day rates in the Gulf.
