I think your observations are on the mark. To be honest, I initially started posting my thoughts on this thread because I think it needed an infusion of reality and honesty. Here you have a group--the "Three Amigos"--that refers to themselves in the third person constantly (i.e., "The Three Amigos do not engage in daytrades" or "The Three Amigos feel the stock is a good buy") but refuses to accept any kind of accountability for their collective failures. Face it: with a few exceptions, the picks that appeared here have been abject disasters. If the Amigos think their skill and success warrants recognition (as they apparrently do, by creating their own thread here, their own website, appearing in the SI Magazine, etc) then let's see them be HONEST about it. Make picks as a group, and update the group's neglected portfolio once a week so no one can hide the large number of failures behind the occasional success.

Consider that a challenge. It is a reasonable one, but one I guarantee will not be accepted.
