Do people not buy Sony TV's when they can get cheap Hyundai and GOldstar TV's? NO! Do people not buy Mercedes and BMW's and Acuras and Lexus when cheap Ford Fiestas are available? NO ! Do people not buy Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren branded products when they can buy cheaper stuff at K-Mart - NO ! Intel has a well deserved quality and LEADERSHIP position. That has engendered a BRAND CONSCIOUSNESS in most sophisticated consumers. That is why Intel can outsell AMD chips when Intel's chips cost more - of course, Intel chips perform better and that helps! Re: "Virtually no screwdriver shop puts intel inside labels on their stuff AMD or Intel they care not." That's OK - they also don't get COOP dollars from Intel. Paul
